A working meeting was held between Anatoli Unitsky, General Designer of UST Inc., and Sergey Borisevich, Head of the Nizhnetavdinsky District of the Tyumen Region, along with representatives of the region’s business community.
The guests visited the headquarters of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. in Minsk, as well as the SW Plant factory, where the rolling stock is manufactured. At the EcoTechnoPark, the delegation observed the string transport system in operation under real-world conditions: the use of uPods, the automated control system, and the infrastructure of the string rail complexes.
During the talks, special attention was paid to discussing the advantages of uST technology. The administration of the Nizhnetavdinsky District is interested in transportation solutions that are environmentally safe and capable of operating effectively in harsh climates, including in difficult and marshy areas.
“Based on all the factors, the implementation of string transport appears promising and economically viable. On challenging sections, such systems make it possible to significantly reduce the amount of earthwork and lower construction costs compared to traditional modes of transport,” commented Sergey Borisevich.
As Anatoli Unitsky noted, such visits are an excellent opportunity to showcase string transport in action.
“These meetings allow us to clearly demonstrate our cutting-edge developments to the leadership of Russian municipalities. I am confident that string technologies can contribute to the sustainable development of these regions,” emphasized the General Designer of Unitsky String Technologies Inc.

The parties agreed to continue discussions. Such negotiations could lay the groundwork for further development of string transport projects in the Tyumen Region.
